Beginning on Earth Day 2017, create beautiful botanical tiles using real plants as well as other source material. In addition to impressing with plant material, sculpting a relief, and creating in mixed media, you will have access to basic mould-making and casting instructions to produce multiples of your tiles, if desired.

The Botanical Tiles Workshop is guided by artist and educator Amanda J. Sisk. After studies in both North America and Italy, Amanda served two seasons as Sculptor-in-Residence at Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site, and in 2013, her work was awarded the National Sculpture Society’s Dexter Jones Award for best bas-relief sculpture. She is a 2015 recipient of The Gibbons Prize for New England Sculptors, and in 2016, she served as the first Artist-in-Residence at the historic Governor John Langdon House in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Her work often features the natural world and may be viewed at ateliersisk.com.
